SF Circle Shows Up for Bayview/Hunters Point

Grandmothers showed up at an intergenerational Climate and Environmental Justice conference in Bayview/Hunters Point, where the SF Circle has been working in solidarity with community residents to push for a thorough cleanup of the toxic leftovers from the Naval Shipyard and other industrial polluters.

Grandmothers and puppets showed up to tell the Port of Oakland to stop plans to expand the Oakland airport 

Grannies showed up at the Ferry Building with puppets that we set up next to the Veterans for Peace banner. Their banner and our puppets made a clear and visible presence: air shows fuel the climate crisis.  We helped hand out the Vets’ leaflet, basically the content that we developed for the grannies.

Grannies Show Up Against Fleet Week Oct 2024

Grannies showed up at the Ferry Building on Saturday October 12 with puppets that we set up next to the Veterans for Peace banner. Their banner and our puppets made a clear and visible presence: air shows fuel climate crisis.  We helped hand out the Vets’ leaflet, basically the content that we developed for the grannies.

NOT ANOTHER BOMB - Grandmothers showed up in Oakland 

at the rally and march that was part of a National Day of Action organized by @uncommittedmvmt to show Kamala Harris that the people  demand an Arms Embargo.

Our contingent of 1000 Grandmothers was invited to come to Minnesota to support grandmother water protectors on the ground.

​Water Is Life Prayer Walk in solidarity with the Treaty People Walk for Water (https://www.stopline3.org/events/treatypeoplewalk), to stand in defense of the land, the water, the earth, and her defenders globally. In hope and prayer, we call on policymakers and all of us to:

- Uphold treaty rights!
- Protect the rights of Manoomin (wild rice), Nibi (water), which are now being threatened by the Line 3 Pipeline!
- Save West Berkeley Shellmound!
